We’ve begun mapping out our learning journey in DeFi with an overview of the ecosystem—covering the broader landscape, influential long-standing projects, and common architectural patterns (Recording of this session here. See all past sessions here).
To deepen your understanding and bring in a range of perspectives, we’ve selected a few readings grouped into three focus areas. Our aim is to have at least one or two people engaging with each focus area so we can explore these different lenses together during our open forum on 21 May, with volunteers from each group joining the panel.
Focus Areas & Readings
Focus #1: History of DeFi
→ History Of DeFi – From Inception To 2021 And Beyond - Finematics
Focus #2: DeFi Primitives
→ The Evolution of DeFi Across Four Financial Primitives - Justine Humenansky, CFA
Focus #3: Stablecoins
→ A Visual Explanation of Algorithmic Stablecoins - Haseeb Qureshi
→ Digital Money: US Treasury’s Report on Stablecoins
Please reply to let us know which focus area you’d like to take on, and whether you’d be open to joining the 21 May discussion as a panelist to share your thoughts and questions. Your contributions help shape the depth of this learning space—thank you in advance!
