Hi all, wanted to discuss an idea to increase adoption, as Hugh has made clear that the march towards Nexus V2 is all about enabling distribution networks and to reduce the friction for users.
Meanwhile, I think everyone is aware that KYC is one of the biggest friction points. I’ve been working on zkportal.io - which allows users to prove they passed KYC on a centralized exchange or that they have a digital government identity. In this way, there is no need for users to reshare their passport or selfie again and again.
We’d love to collaborate with Nexus Mutual, either directly, or to help onboard new DeFi protocols which don’t want to partner because they are not keen on full-scale KYC. Hope this helps to make the annoying world of compliance as frictionless as possible!
