Community call this week
Our next community call will take place on Friday 18th December in the #community-calls video channel in the Discord server.
2.30-3pm UTC we will run a Nexus for beginners call for anyone who wants to understand the basic mechanics of the system and how Nexus works.
3-4pm UTC will be the regular call with updates from the team, what we’re working on, roadmap and plans for scaling plus time for community questions.
You can submit your questions in advance on the #community-calls Discord channel.

Sushi swap is live
Members can now stake to enable cover on SushiSwap. So far staking has brought the price of cover to 31.5%. More staking is required to drop the price to the minimum 2.6%

For cover to be made available, stakers (risk assessors - any member staking on a contract) will need to stake on the SushiSwap contract to demonstrate they think the smart contracts are secure. When there is sufficient staking, members will be able to purchase cover on SushiSwap. Stake now

A reminder about safety on social channels
We continue to get numerous reports of team members being impersonated on Telegram and Discord. Our team never DM first, never ask for money and are all admins of Telegram and tagged as ‘team’ on Discord.
Attack on Hugh
The investigation into the personal attack on Hugh continues and we will send out an update as soon as we have any more information. Thank you to everyone who is helping with the investigation and who has shown support.
A reminder that the mutual’s funds and systems are not at risk and that we will continue to build Nexus for the long term for our members.
